The Carlthorp School Endowment
The Carlthorp School Endowment is designed to preserve the future of Carlthorp School. The Endowment, which takes as its focus a generous Faculty Endowment, will ensure that the heart and soul of the school - our inventive, amazing faculty - will remain competitive in the years ahead. Among other improvements, the Endowment will allow Carlthorp School to enhance faculty salaries and retirement benefits, as well as fund additional advanced degree programs for those faculty members who wish to pursue them. Unlike many independent schools, Carlthorp School is also able offer reduced tuition to children of faculty members. By taking care of the people who are so impactful to our children and our families, we hope to secure the foundation of our school for many years to come.


The Golf and Tennis Tournament
The annual Golf and Tennis Tournament is held in May at the Riviera Country Club. The tournament supports our Scholarship fund, the cornerstone of our Financial Aid program. Community sponsors, as well as generous Carlthorp School families, play in our golf and tennis tournaments, contribute to a sports-themed silent auction, participate in our live auction, and attend our dinner. The evening is always a wonderful community-building event, as well as an important fundraiser for our Scholarship fund.


Love Art
Love Art was a "parents' night out" that took place in November, 2005, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Though the purpose of Love Art was to showcase Carlthorp School's incredibly imaginative student artists, parents were able to sponsor a variety of parties and community events. Though the goal of the event was community-building rather than fundraising, any monies raised contributed further funding to the fine arts program at Carlthorp School.
