What is the Golf & Tennis Tournament? The Golf & Tennis event is an annual fundraising dinner and auction for Carlthorp School. This event is attended by parents, friends, and faculty to raise money for the school’s scholarship select fund. This year's event will take place on Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Riviera Country Club. The night will include cocktails and select silent auction items followed by dinner and Live Auction.

What is this year’s theme? This year’s theme is Cinco de Mayo.

What is the online auction? The online auction is the website that we are using this year to solicit bids for all auction items.  You may access the online site by clicking on the auction link found on the main page of Golf and Tennis or HERE (www.carlthorp.cmarket.com).

What is the dress code? Country club casual. Jeans are not allowed.

Are people outside the Carlthorp community (families and faculty/staff members) allowed to bid on auction items? Yes, people not associated with Carlthorp School are allowed to submit bids on auction items, except those items that state “This item is limited to bidding by Carlthorp School families, faculty, and staff only.”   Unless it is restricted by this language, the auction item is available for bids by the general public. 

How do I make a donation? You make a donation by filling out this Auction Donation Form.  Additionally, you may make a donation online at the auction website.  Instructions will be provided at the auction website HERE (www.carlthorp.cmarket.com). You may also pick up a form at the front office.

What's the deadline for donation submission? April 11, 2008.

When does the auction begin? You may start to bid online on April 25, 2008 at 4:00pm PST. The auction ends at 9:00pm PST May 4th 2008.

How do I pay for items that I have purchased through the online auction? You may pay by credit card (Visa or Mastercard)

You will be required to provide credit card authorization in order to bid online.

When do I receive the items I have won? Items won will be available for pick-up at school on May 7th and 8th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Details to follow.
