6th Graders Enjoy Annual Camping Trip

Our 6th Grade students recently went on their first overnight adventure of the year to Camp Ocean Pines in the Central Coast of California.
This four day Carlthorp School tradition gives the 6th Grade students and teachers an opportunity to build especially strong bonds at the beginning of their final year. The students hiked, played sports, conquered a ropes course, kayaked, explored marine science and nature, and so much more. They enjoyed meals together with their teachers, friends, and Mr. Kusserow the Head of School. They slept in cabins underneath the towering Monterey pines. The trip provides the students with a unique opportunity to embrace their leadership role as the oldest students on campus. We are excited about the energy  our 6th Graders bring to campus and can’t wait to see their leadership skills in action this year.
