4th Grade Students Honor Important Historical Figures
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the 4th grade students completed research projects focused on civil rights leaders, actors, musicians, journalists, authors, Nobel Prize winners, and so much more.
The project included a written paper and oral report about individuals of Hispanic Heritage who have made important contributions to our society.
An important component of the project is the sharing of information with classmates, allowing all students to learn about the important contributions of a variety of individuals. The oral presentations were recorded and shared with the entire Carlthorp School community in order to further allow students to educate their peers. We are very proud of the hard work of our 4th grade students and we all learned a great deal.
Established in 1939, Carlthorp School is the oldest independent coeducational day school for grades K-6 located in Santa Monica, California.
