Business Office Assistant & Coordinator

The Business Office Assistant & Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Finance and performs the following functions:
  • Banking: accurately records manual banking deposits in accounting software on a daily basis
  • Billing and related receivables monitoring for After School Clubs, Logo Merchandise, Field Trips, and other items
  • Employee expense tracking, monitoring, and monthly reporting
  • Programs and Events: assisting in planning and execution of School student and parent events as requested by the Director of Finance
  • Special Projects: development, execution and maintenance of special projects as requested by the Director of Finance
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have at least an associate degree and 2+ years working in an office environment
  • Have a positive work ethic and be comfortable working in a professional and collegial elementary school office environment
  • Be team oriented and collaborative with other staff members, teachers, administrators and parents.
  • Be creative, innovative, and a lifelong learner.
  • Be self-starting, highly organized, and proficient with Excel, Word, Quickbooks, both Mac and PC operating systems, and prepared to learn new systems.
