Theater Club Performance Is Wonderful

Congratulations to the Carlthorp School Theater Club on the recent performance of Alice in Wonderland!
Forty-three students in grades 1-6 participated in Theater Club and rehearsed after school throughout the first trimester in order to prepare for this adaptation of the original script. The students performed twice for their peers and once for friends and family.

This adaptation of Alice in Wonderland incorporated lessons related to the Carlthorp School Code of Conduct, which resonated with the community. Led by Ms. Lin (Music), Ms. Morgan (Kindergarten), and Mr. Vernon (6th Grade), the performance was a glowing success. “What a special performance to lead us into the holiday season,” said a 4th grade parent, “The final scene when the student playing the part of Alice delivered a Thought of the Day about how the Code of Conduct makes the world a better place left so many of us parents filled with joy and pride for our community.”

We cannot wait for the Theater Club’s musical performance of The Lion King in March!
